I recognize climate change, but if you grow fruit for a living anywhere in Canada, you are definitely going to experience some baaaad climatic conditions occasionally. If you have survived this industry for 25 years, has there truly been a “disaster”? The Okanagan valley is a Canadian micro climate, one of the very few places where fruit trees can survive the winter. But to characterize a few incidents of crop damage as a “disaster” is not unbiased journalism.
I’m way past making a living in tech, and so far (5 months) my MacBook is delivering a very satisfactory user experience. I’m not thrilled with the “radical” changes coming to MacOs, but I don’t have that much invested in the current version to fret over it. So far the biggest controversy about the new OS is how the finder icon swapped colours. I can live with that! I considered and tried some Linux distros over the past few years, but there was too much intervention required by me, the user. The “Total Recall” vibe of Windows 11 pushed me over the line.
And yet, most likely user behaviour hasn’t changed!
The weeping willow on my granny’s lawn was the perfect contrast to the spruces, cedars, and maples of the surrounding woods. It provided an anchor too, to the sweeping view of the river and valley behind it. I miss that tree and the view; all things change.
Geez! Royal or not, if you charter a budget company, you get budget service! IDK if HiFly is budget or not. I do know this: aircraft are effing complicated. The consequences of many defects can be life threatening. (Nearly) All aircraft operators strive to detect and rectify defects while the survey is on the ground. Quit whingeing and enjoy your multi hour flight over empty ocean!

Yes, Microsoft forum “experts”, are all about cycling through the update, uninstall, reboot, install, contact OEM. And the most frequent comment on solutions: “That does not address the user’s question.”
It won’t really matter how difficult it is to replace a battery if no manufacturer has enough spares to meet demand. Is that going to be legislated? There’s a hundred ways to make replacement inconvenient or impossible.

I recently moved to Mexico from Canada 🇨🇦 because of the culture! Nice weather and lower cost of living are both available in many other countries. Mexico has the culture, the arts, the food, the variety that make life here so interesting. Nay; captivating!
Please don’t seek to emulate the degenerating culture to the north. No one likes it! Especially not Mexicans, who have seen firsthand their presence as immigrants in USA and Canada have improved life for the people there. Now help your immigrants do the same for Mexico! 🇲🇽
