  • Heck yeah! I watch this one every once in awhile, as I managed to get the DVDs back in the day. Always loved the imaginative deaths, the emotional hits, and how much they made me really like every character somehow.

Still never prepared for some deaths, honestly. The bagel chopper one still makes me cringe.

  • I think it was more a: do you feel represented by this meme? Like in the “I’m in this photo and don’t like it,” kinda way.

    ancient cartoon

Love that haha Which version did you grow up watching, I did catch a lot of reruns growing up and remember when the live action movies came out. I gotta say, if you still watch cartoons, Mystery Incorporated is such a fun take on Scooby Doo!

  • It’s really fun, I have barely touched anything else, and really could go for multiple hours, if I let myself. A couple times, I’ve gotten my butt kicked really bad multiple times in a row, that’s usually when I stop for the day haha Either I do better when I get some sleep (or food or whatever), or I can stand the grind to make sure I’m levelled enough.

I think my only complaint is the voice acting. It has an odd feeling to it, everyone in the game has this cadence to their lines that sound somewhat awkward. Kind of curious as to what they were going for, it’s not the worst I’ve ever heard, more just makes me start thinking about the work behind it more haha

  • I have too many games on the go (Blue Prince, Sea of Stars, Guild Wars 2, Grounded, way more, cause I get sidetracked) So, I decided to add Lies of P in there, since it was on PS+.

I’m not usually one for Souls-likes, but dang, the setting, style, and story in this one grabbed me. Playing on their medium setting is just the right amount of difficulty for me. I like some challenge, so I tried the hardest one, but am terrible at pattern recognition on bosses, so I’ll just live with it. I don’t have much time to enjoy the story, before I have classes in the autumn, anyway.

I’m probably starting to sound like a broken record with these two series, but Mushishi is a slow series about a guy who travels around and solves peoples’ supernatural problems, usually with strange brings called mushi.

Natsume Yuujinchou is a series about an orphan boy, who moves to a small town, and discovers more about his mother, makes friends, and other slice of life things. Oh, and his mother made a deal with a bunch of yokai, and he is left to help these yokai, with the help of one, who takes the form of a cat.

I wish there are more mystery series out there, for some reason, all I can think of is Hyouka and Paranoia Agent.

Speaking of Paranoia Agent, I see you have Paprika, and Perfect Blue, may I recommend Millennium Actress, and Tokyo Godfathers, also by Satoshi Kon.

  • This is so cute, the bun, the little bee! Love the texture you got out of those neocolors, especially the smoothness of the bunny vs the soft texture of the rest.

Have you used neocolors before? I’ve never tried them, so I might look into them. Are they like oil pastels?

Lastly, love that little spiral in the sun, I’m just a fan of spirals, mostly.

  • I wouldn’t call it bad! It’s a fun style! I, also, really like the way you did the hair, adds some nice texture. Are there some things that aren’t perfect? Maybe, but that’s a thing with watercolours and art, in general. As your learn, you will see how to correct what you view as wrong, you’re already pointing out some ways in this piece, which means you’ll know for next time. So, keep it up! I’d like to see more
