But at the same time I don’t think Patsi and Rainwaker are necessarily the answer - but I could be wrong, of course, haven’t followed them very closely. But someone like Yekindar at least was clearly a star level player, even if he hasn’t always shown that in Liquid.
That is not going to happen. I won’t say never, but not in the next 10 years for example. I can see your point - but I don’t think it’s a realistic wish at all.
At the same time it feels like this move makes sense and doesn’t solve anything.

No offense, but that solution sounds like a pipedream that wouldn’t work on a technical level. So you wish to keep not just the item someone published, but previous versions of it, have mirrors of it and tie it up in some sort of a blockchain thing. That sounds insanely more resource heavy than just hosting the document itself on one instance somewhere. It would be much more reliable sure, but currently even companies like reddit can struggle with all of the traffic, similarly with smaller open source projects like Lemmy instances or kbin, and your solution is to increase the amount of data?
Good old “this isn’t working well enough so we need to make a change” category of roster changes, where the replacement isn’t any better either.
I always think of him as getting one deagle kill on eco rounds.
