When I worked in an FLGS I heard it from customers quite often, which we would always try to nudge them in another direction. It’s not the “country boys” who say it, it’s the 4chan/incel/Alpha-male set.
It’s generally the difference between using it as a descriptor, and a noun. Noun bad.

“Female” isn’t trans-inclusive, but people aren’t going to look at you weird either way you say it.
Now compare that to:
“I really like watching the females play football.” and “I really like watching the women play football.”
“Females” here makes you sound like you’re getting sexual gratification from watching the players, or that you see them as nothing more than a vagina, “women” sounds like you might like the game.

Did you read the article or the written decision?
It’s a question of whether the dismissals of these employees were wrongful or not.
If they were fired because they were trying to start a union, that would be wrongful dismissal.
The corporation can be compelled to rehired them, because the firings would have been invalid, so they should not have taken place.
If they were fired because they hosted a media event on company property, which is against the company policies, then it would be a valid dismissal.

I would say that the first 6 episodes were really good, and the last 4 are just okay; they are kinda just rushed.
1-6 could’ve been one season, and they should’ve done a 6 episode season 2 to give the post-time-skip story more time to breath.
