I havent played DOS2 but from what I heard its a very good crpg. There is one big difference between it and Baldurs Gate 3 though- Production values. Baldurs Gate 3 simply by being a more cinematic experience will cater to a larger audience despite being a nerdy crpg. Plus DnD does have kind of a renaissance and the name Baldurs Gate still carries some weight.

Now while you have a point. Keep in mind that a ton of people never finish a game and you can spend 40-50h in act one and by all accounts Act 1 is pretty polished because it was the part that you could play during early access. It is possible that the later game might not live up to the first act but the truth is a lot of people will never make it that far.

As a sidenote there is one reviewer that I know that played a lot of the early access that finished the full game in a bit over 50h a couple of days after release and he was very positive about it. (Even the later parts)

I didnt watch all seasons of it but the first 3 seasons are a pretty fun kind hearted show. Gonna finish it one of these days.

Interesting start position in the empire. At least the Tzeentch lords Kairos/Vilitch and now the Changeling all start in very different areas of the map and play pretty different.

Im pretty sure “most” characters in anime are supposed to be Japanese unless we are talking about the trope of the blonde exchange student. Its just that western audiences see them as white. A ton of Anime play in Japan and ofc the characters depicted in those shows are supposed to be japanese. This is not to say Anime cant feature wh*te people there are more then enough shows that feature people of other nationalities just that the classic Anime playing at a japanese highschool is…yes meant to depict japanese highschoolers.

You won’t need the DLC to participate in multiplayer with us. If you change your mind, we will most likely be playing throughout September into October, until Total War Pharaoh is released. Just hit me up if you ever want to play.

I’m not sure if you’re interested, but two other people and I are probably going to start multiplayer campaigns for Total Warhammer 3 after the DLC drops. Don’t worry, it’s not super competitive – just some laid-back co-op and versus campaigns

I played through Wrath of the Righteous and I did enjoy it but so far Baldurs Gate 3 blows it out of the water for me. The only aspect that I prefered in WotR was the fact that you could have very different story experiences in it due to the mythic paths (from angel to demon and lich etc) I also didnt really like the combat in Wrath of the Righteous or Kingmaker. With that said I am looking forward to the 40k Rogue Trader game owlcat is working on.

Its really fucking good. That said high charisma feels a bit strong. Like im out here debating my enemies into submission.
