I do! Although more the en dash than the em. Its also how dialogue is done in Spanish books (replacing the quotation marks)

It hurts me that they got it right with þe but the other two are wrong
I once had like a 40% plagiarism score because it considered phrases like “of the” as plagiarism. Worst part of all was that my professor initially took the score at face value so I had to argue my case

Computer RPG Games@lemmy.world•'Child labor is unbeatable': Baldur's Gate 3 players discover how to build an army of unkillable kids through the power of polymorph and German media lawsEnglish
13·2 months agoI’m pretty sure Mirkon with the harpies is the exception. Normally children can’t enter combat and if you try to attack thrm, they just run away unscathed. I just tried to fight the kids at Last Light to test lol

PC Gaming•Open world action RPG Where Winds Meet tops 2 million players in its first weekend, with a concurrent peak of 190,000 on Steam alone as it rakes in Very Positive reviewsEnglish
13·2 months agoSteam reviews suggest that purchases and battle pass (yuck!) are cosmetic only. Most complaints are about how you can’t change audio settings until after a 20 minute tutorial

11·2 months agoI think it’s the absolute best game of the decade, and one of the best of all time. Probably an overreaction, I know. But there was something special about it.

Computer RPG Games@lemmy.world•Todd Howard says that Fallout 4's cinematic dialogue system 'really did not resonate' with players, even though Bethesda 'spent forever' working on itEnglish
20·2 months agoThey spent forever on it because it fucking sucks. They had double the text for every single line because you had both a “summary” text for your choice and what the actual line spoken was. I bet the localization teams got a big check for that game

2·2 months agoThe reviews on the Steam page are pretty funny:
“It Takes a War is hard to talk about” Noclip
“Looks like a pretty poor Counter-Strike clone” IndieLoupe
“The combat in It Takes a War is just bad. The conflict in It Takes a War is profoundly human.” Rogue
