

Sorry for the late response.
Trans girl in the US here. Both of my parents are pastors. And due to their religion and upbringing… It has had that friction.
Somehow they have come to accept that I’m trans and that this is happening. But they refuse to acknowledge my gender or my pronouns. Nor do they want to call me by my preferred name.
However I do have other family members that are perfectly fine with it and support me. My grandma is the best and she’s super super nice.
And my girlfriend’s side of the family also supports me. I find myself visiting her family for holidays more often than mine now.
My recommendation for you is to try to find family and/or friends that accept you and bring you positive vibes. It helps a lot. Trust me. hugs
