Wi-Fi is bad for me because the alternative is mobile data.
I live in Australia where the broadband speeds are 12.5 to 100Mbps.
That just sounds like a .norm file
I used AI to write code in a new language.
It took longer and more effort, and at the end, the code was slower, harder to read, and contained obscure bugs I would have thought of while writing it myself.
Worst of all, by the time I had finished the project, I had learned absolutely nothing of the language, and have to start over from the beginning for the next project.
Never again.
The best time was 80 years ago. The second best time is now.
GParted (available in the software center) is a graphical program for easily editing partitions.
You can usually expand a partition into adjacent empty space.
Reminder: Be careful of which partitions you edit, and also have backups of any important data on a separate device.

I couldn’t get one shipped directly to Australia, but there are companies in Europe that will forward packages for you.

Just wait a few weeks. It’ll happen.
In university, I was offered a significant amount of assistance with all the things that I’d been helping others with.
They were completely unable to assist in any way with any of the tasks I couldn’t do.

EGPWS - stops airliners accidentally flying into mountains.
Home Assistant - full control over your smart devices, internet optional.
Sierra Leone hospital - their first hospital that has a neonatal unit, already drastically reducing the maternal mortality rate.
PMSM - electric motor that can exceed 95% efficiency.
Proton - allows almost any game to run on Linux.
3D printing - much cheaper rapid prototyping and custom parts. Even used on the ISS.

Solar panels combined with House batteries or Vehicle to grid is cheaper and more reliable than a backup generator, and in many cases, is even cheaper than using energy from the grid.
The majority of materials in each battery and solar panel can be recycled into new batteries and solar panels at end of life (often after 25+ years), so the raw resources are only needed once.
Most new batteries don’t use rare or controversial materials.

Make a folder with that name, take ownership, and disable write permissions for everything.
You could also make it a hidden folder if you don’t want to see it.
I wonder if they’re going to panic when they see those lights now.

I realise pebble is designed for tech enthusiasts and not really for fitness, but the time 2 does have a step counter, heart rate monitor, and sleep tracker.
Is it possible that a community made app could do what you want?

My partner is explicitly non-binary and sees gender as a problem to be solved.
I have kept my birth assigned gender because I see gender as a superfluous exercise, not worth wasting time or thought on.
I don’t really identify with masculine or feminine personality traits, and I have no preference for pronouns.
Just as gender is a spectrum (not a binary decision), the amount you care about it can be too.
If fully transitioning sounds like too much effort, just do the bits that make you happy. If shaving your hair, or trying makeup for the first time makes you happy, then that can be enough.

Assuming we never get more energy dense batteries, this would be one way to make air transport carbon neutral.
It’s far worse than batteries for cars, but batteries aren’t practical everywhere yet. Every bit helps.

How long until “please stop killing innocent people” is also considered hate speech.
