Acquaintance wanted a “rustic-looking picture frame” made out of “barn wood” for a jigsaw puzzle. I asked how fancy they wanted it. They said “Not at all.” Okay then - here ya go.

This is most of my woodworking. Pallet wood trunks and laptop stands and recycling boxes. Eventually it becomes your aesthetic and everything is ‘rustic’. In reality I don’t have the attention span for a project that lasts longer than a weekend.
