Put in any other offense we’ve had in the last two years, we lose. Put in any defense we’ve had in the last 20, we lose. Take away our great special teams play, we most likely wouldn’t have been in the lead at the end. We won because the entire team came out to play. I don’t care if it was against another mediocre-at-best offense. That D was no joke and we put up 16 points and held them to 12.

This team has wrinkles to iron out but they have the heart and the passion we’ve been lacking for 20 years. Really anything could happen from here on out. I’m just glad AOC is proving he is at the very least serviceable. He is aware that he needs to make quicker decisions and get the ball out faster. I hope he learns to scramble a bit better and not let pressure get to him. If AOC is still our QB1 in a year or two, we could have a top 15 offense and defense
