/r/Frasier was one of my favorite communities on Reddit. I don’t think the demographic of Frasier watchers and Lemmy users is going to overlap a ton, but I figured this space could be a safe refuge for those who are interested in both federated and frasier-ated communities.
I’m going to add some initial content to hopefully give people something to latch onto as they sip their cafe lattes or dip into a tahitian vanilla bath.
I’m pleased to see an active Frasier community here! When my favorite Reddit app closed I felt like Martin losing Duke’s. Hopefully Lemmy will be my McGinty’s.
I am wounded. But I’m hopeful.
I was never actually a subscriber to r/Frasier, though I was tagged there for one of my comments on r/AskReddit. I’ve been willing to join communities for more tangential interests here on the Fediverse.

The one subreddit I’m really mourning losing was /r/frasier. I’m so excited to find this community on Lemmy!

Damn I didn’t know that. Probably because I watched voyager long after I watched cheers. I’ll have to watch again to spot her!
She plays a politician who dates Sam. It’s been a while since I last watched, but if I remember correctly, she dated him because she hoped it would help her politically.
I think I remember that situation.
Okay, cool. I think you’ll also get a kick out of seeing Peri Gilipin and John Mahoney on Cheers playing different characters!
There’s also that Frasier-Voyager crossover skit they did.
