It is kind of crazy to think about.

The captain who lifted the FA Cup last year at a capacity Wembley is now playing in front of 700 people.

I’ve actually got a game in just over an hour. On a good day we get 100 in the crowd, plus we get a free pasty and pint after the game. I will try not to let this glamour go to my head though.

There were more fans (6,289) at Yeovil v Weymouth in the National League South on Tuesday night than in 5/9 of those games!

I think SL for Saudi League is better than SPL which is Scottish Premier League.

Whatever league you’re playing in, it’s a bad look to have this much disparity in attendance figures throughout a season.

I don’t think anyone would really have much to say about attendance if the numbers were consistently between about 10-15,000 every match, but that you can have almost 60,000 for one game and barely over a hundred in another, in the same league, asks a lot of questions about the size of the league relative to its fanbases.

That’s the whole point of their project. All the higher attendances were against the clubs filled with stars. They’re in infancy stage where they’re building popularity of the league and it will take several years (I guess until the WC they want to host) before they hit their goal.

I guess the next summer transfer window will show their true potential. If they keep attracting the biggest former stars and some current great players, the attendances will definitely rise.

So people only show up to see the super stars on the other teams? If they don’t have a big name barely anyone goes
