    Tarrian’s Journal - 1B

    Legendary Artifact ®

T, Sacrifice another artifact or creature: Draw a card. Activate only as a sorcery.

2, T, Discard your hand: Transform Tarrian’s Journal.

Though officially deemed a heretic for his reverent writings on Aclazotz, Tarrian is viewed as a holy martyr by the most radical sects of the Church of Dusk.

    The Tomb of Aclazotz

    Legendary Land - Cave

    (Transforms from Tarrian’s Journal.)

    T: Add B

T: You may cast a creature spell from your graveyard this turn. If you do, it enters the battlefield with a finality counter on it and is a Vampire in addition to its other types.

Finality counter, removed on upkeep, exiled when none remaining?
Is there much counter manipulation this block?
Don’t answer that. I really can’t afford to get back into Magic. :p

Mono blue, red, and white are all cheaper then $100 decks. Not that I’m being a good influence

Cards with finality counters are exiled if they would die instead of going to the graveyard

Not much counter manipulation so far, and historically most of it has been adding counters instead of removing them.

Probably a wise choice, keep increasing the amount of stuff they release each year

Ooh, adding finality to opponents’ creatures would be a fun soft-removal/hard-choice mechanic.
