Awesome. Some of these Cookie banners are ridiculous. Instagram’s Cookie banner, for example, tells you to install a browser extension to block their Cookies, because apparently Facebook doesn’t have the technological expertise to not set tracking Cookies.
Google does the same if I remember correctly, they tell you to disable cookies in your browser’s settings.

Can you give a bit more details?
They have statistics tracking and “security software” (might just be fail2ban) on their site they disclose this in their privacy policy but aren’t very specific.
Honestly I have no issue with a bit of telemetry, it helps them a lot to know how much attention they’re getting and where.
As long as the data is not used to target marketing I’m mostly fine with it.
Still believe in that ?
Matomo is self hosted though.
