Are you just spamming Pro-imperialist Reuters articles in World News?

Nope. I try to gather stuff from many sources. It wouldn’t be spamming if people made more effort in the world news group. But I have a feeling that most people on Lemmy only care about the most sensational type news.

But you’d be critical of any western media, even like al-jazeera and shit

I’m critical of western media when it reports on global south countries like Colombia, Venezuela, Russia, China, Syria, Iraq, etc. Because they usually take the stance that countries exercising their sovereign right to control their own resources are run by dictators that restrict the free market. Usually this means to demonize countries that harm the business interests of North American or European multinationals.

I don’t even dissagree with having market control. I love having some market control. I’m just not so stupid I end up defending dictators. It’s not even like things are how you say it if you have been following anything. Stupid americans gain more from China’s economic position than anyone, or at least before stupid Trump

Nope. I try to gather stuff from many sources.

I see The Guardian, Reuters, Sky, BBC, CNN, Africa News which is a branch of Euronews, etc. Suffice it to say that all your political news posts are from mainstream Western sources. If we’re assuming your posting habits are reflective of your browsing habits, you’re almost exclusively reading stuff in the Western liberal hive mind and are very unlikely to come across anything that provide any real arguments against what they say. I guess part of that is because that’s what’s most popular in the Anglosphere because that’s basically our “culture”, but that doesn’t detract from my above statements.

What source would you use for the linked article, if these sources aren’t okay with you

It’s a sister organization to euronews. But that is more complicated than that it is just Euronews if you have organizational knowledge. It will have it’s own board of directors, goals and so on. Africa news is a reputable newssource for Africa. But I’m interested in looking at more newssources from Africa, as long as I can read them.

Facts. I have been trying to say this and they never listen. They even went to call my comment on the news sources post biased/propaganda. It is incredibly anti intellectual.
