    Are we still calling LNG a ‘green’ fuel? Is fracking still a big deal, given the impending water crisis?

        That bar is so low that even Futurama’s Hermes couldn’t limbo under it. ;-)

        Is “not the dumbest idea ever” enough to justify the continued both-feet investment into its extraction and export for cash?

          Replacing coal has been the bulk of the US’s reduction in carbon emissions over the past few decades (and the lack of a coal replacement is why China and India have such high emissions footprints).
