My head cannon is that moopsies were invented by Section 31 as weaponized tribbles.
It’s mind-blowing how good S3 was, especially compared to the first two seasons. Granted, it had about a million% more fanservice but it was still so much more fun than the first two.
The third season has some issues if you look at the plot too closely, but the simple fun factor is high enough that I don’t care.
