    Kind of useless, sadly, except for a very fast and superficial overview. No mention about funding, drawbacks, userfriendlyness, selfhosting difficulty, special features, protocol standards between servers, metadata collection, possible exploitation, 3rd party security audit, etc. etc. Any of those protocols (xmpp, matrix, IMAP) and P2P apps are good, but there are a big chunk of really important information missing IMHO

      You can’t really put all that in a nice simple table though. I think this is more of a awareness rising tool that explains a bit better why Xmpp/Matrix are better choices than the others mentioned.

    Sadly it doesn’t show anything about metadata in the comparison.
