Sometimes I see nsfw posts and I can almost see the image perfectly. I can’t imagine that it’s usefull. I feel like from a distance it doesn’t even look like the filter is on so people in public transport will just think that I am a perv.

Are you on 0.0.34? There was a boost to the blur effect in this patch.
