Anyone else here not being able to middle-click a YouTube video’s thumbnail to open in a new tab? I can only do it on the video’s title now, and it’s quite annoying. I’m used to opening a few nice videos to watch in different tabs so I don’t lose them. Edit: NiSwan’s answer fixed it for me, all back to normal.

    omg, yes! I thought it was something off with my extensions, but it seems YouTube is taking some fantastic UI decisions lately…

    You need to disable the inline videos. I found the steps in stackoverflow, it’s changed in your profile settings on YT.

      Thanks, this actually solved it for me!
      Edit: This also brought the “Watch Later” button to the thumbnail instead of hiding it on the 3 dots menu (1 click instead of 2 now!).
