Another telling line was when he said businesses are beholden to a board. The prototypical example, and the one that makes more sense for mods, is a business being beholden to it’s customers. As in, if you do things your customers don’t like, they’ll leave and go somewhere else.
Of course, spez doesn’t believe users have a choice or any real power, otherwise he wouldn’t act this way. To him, they’re just a resource to be exploited for investors.
