I used Apollo and the sort options included top, best, new, controversial, old, Q&A, random, and live update (I screenshotted everything in the interface for posterity).
I’m pretty sure the desktop reddit interface includes most or all of those, and mods could set any of them as the default for a thread.
e: In Lemmy, I only see top, hot, new, and old, so I guess a live thread won’t be possible?
I do not remember how they exactly worked in Reddit but I think just naming it “Official Final Thread” and sorting by new should be enough.
On Reddit an external interface had to be used for auto-scrolling, but I don’t think we need that here.
Could auto-scrolling be a front-end feature only available in official reddit app? I was using Infinity, I had never used or heard of auto-scrolling.
