      That’s odd that they are calling it that. It means ‘priest strangler’ and is usually associated with hard pretzel.

      Looks very nice though

        Haha yeah, those are in the wrong packaging 😂 I must admit when I google these, you get a lot of mixed results. However, Wikipedia has a correct picture of them. They look more like twisted/twirled pieces rather than weird macaroni.

          That wikipedia article details at least a half dozen different food items using the same name, some of which aren’t even pasta. And the German page for the term uses this pasta shape as one of their three default pictures.

          Everyone’s idea of strozzapreti is right apparently!

      Did you make the nduja? If you haven’t, I encourage you try. It was my first fermented sausage and it turned out very nice.

        Not yet, but considering the cost of the imported stuff, I think I will be making it at home haha.
