Yes the UAW is very aware of the fact that the current push to end EVs in the USA will result in worse conditions. They put out a white paper in March 2021 about how the transition to EVs could benefit workers.

Kowtowing to China? The only reason China’s EV sales dipped last year was because people had more non-Chinese options. Oil is dead, all my homies buy electric.
