The problem with leaving IG behind is all my friends are on there. None of them are on Pixelfed.
Famous people with hundreds of thousands followers could change this. They have the critical mass. Their followers will automatically follow. Does anybody have direct access to such people? Who can then spread the word in those circles…🫤

people whose entire job is making ad money by gaming the algorithm probably don’t want to be on a platform with no ads and no algorithm…
