Now with MGSIV PC announced, mainly care for God of War Ascension and Eternal Sonata. Eternal Sonata you can get through but you’ll have to change settings at different parts in the games that crash or when it crashes, you run the game again and successfully get past the part it crashed at. I tried a little bit of White Knight Chronicles and that worked. Just haven’t tried to get far. RPCS3 is incredible. I remember like a decade ago people were saying it’s design was a dead end and they’d have to start over. Good to see those people were proven wrong
Can someone who knows things decode what 73% playable, with 98% in-game means? Does in-game just mean it starts, but playable means it has to actually with well? Or is it a different metric entirely?
I got you, fam:
The latest compatibility update bumps 73.06% of the catalog into the “Playable” tier, meaning you can actually finish those games without major issues. Another 25.12% are now tagged as “Ingame,” where titles boot, pass the menus, and run, but still suffer from glitches or performance problems serious enough to keep them out of the clear.
FFX remake crashes during the second stage of the Yunalesca fight. All that work, and still can’t finish the game or go after all the extra content.
Isn’t that one already playable on PC?
It’s on Steam, I have it.
PS3 emulation is notoriously painful, so this sounds a bit entitled tbh.
I’m simply telling people where the crash is, so they don’t try to waste their time. It’s a late game crash that ruins the run.
I don’t think people entered the comments of this post wondering where FFX HD Remake crashes in RPCS3
But at least it’s a story spoiler for anyone that hasn’t had a chance to play it yet! -.-
