I just sort of always knew. I didn’t have the vocabulary for it when I was young, but looking back it’s always been boys.
Of course growing up in a very religious world that taught me to pray the gay away, did me no favors. So for thirteen years my excuse was “I’m not gay, I’m a Christian!”
