Hazy skies tinged with an eery yellow glow greeted millions of Canadians in Quebec and Ontario again Wednesday as the smoke from hundreds of wildfires continued to cause air quality warnings in Canada's most populated corridor. In a bizarre twist of fate, on a day when air quality was among the worst the country has ever seen, it was national Clean Air Day in Canada.
Oh man, that sounds brutal. Grew up in a house with no A/C, so I have a couple tips that might make it a little more bearable.
Fans don’t technically make anything colder, but the air circulation at least feels nice. Flicking some water in front of the fan feels extra good. Frozen treats like popsicles are a godsend, though you’d obviously want to do homemade ones for the kiddo.
It’s not a lot, but hopefully it helps.
