I’ve been getting a better idea of what works and what doesn’t, it also very much depends on the sub you’re posting to. And a good image is everything.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ll look shortly. Might need to bump the piefed or db vm specs up.
Edit: I’ve cranked our piefed db server from 4 cores up to 16. Webservers seem to be handling the load fine, but DB was a little high.

Just a heads up, Reddit might shadowban Fediverse links.
I used to post links to Lemmy and the Fediverse and eventually they would get zero views.
When I would break the links https ://jointhefediverse. net, https ://join-lemmy. org/ the post would get views.
It’s possible I was being paranoid but keep that in mind.
It’s already happened, I don’t post links unless the post already has lots of traction.
It’s not just the Fediverse, posts that have links are shown less in the Reddit feed.
