That’s genuinely the perfect lighting to travel in any form. It dulls the streetlights, it muffles sound, and you can feel really alone. At peace in your envelope of existence.
white balance is a tiny bit too harsh, but otherwise, yeah
I think if I’d been on a road with cars (this is a cycle path, and the other one to the left is a foot path), it would’ve been a bit disorienting. I have astigmatism, so lights at night look much larger than they are, especially in the fog.
I used to love getting off the train after midnight and walking the mile or so home in my twenties. Night is so peaceful.
