A four-game winning streak to end the season couldn’t extend Raheem Morris’ second chance with the Falcons. Atlanta is firing Morris as head coach following an 8-9 2025 campaign, which brought his record to 16-18 since taking the job in 2024.
Didn’t even wait until Monday morning.

Morris has always been a great defensive mind but clearly shouldn’t be a head coach. Hopefully he catches on somewhere can be a great coordinator for a while. Wade Phillips had the same journey.
Some people make better coordinators than they do coaches. I knew his hiring would set the team back 3 years.
