Exchanges about Trump between reporter Landon Thomas Jr. and Jeffrey Epstein raise questions about what the New York Times knew and when.

One reporter with whom Epstein connected frequently was Landon Thomas Jr., a financial journalist at the New York Times. Thomas exchanged dozens of emails with Epstein between 2015 and 2018, years after the financier’s conviction for soliciting a minor.

In the emails, Thomas tipped off Epstein about inquiries by other reporters and claimed to have vouched for Epstein, whom he said he called “one hell of a guy.” In one exchange, Thomas coached Epstein on how to repair his reputation.

The relationship was a two-way street. Epstein, who died in a Manhattan federal jail in 2019 awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, was reportedly a valued source for Thomas. In the emails released Wednesday, one of the topics Epstein fed information to Thomas was about Donald Trump’s allegedly lecherous behavior. In the exchanges — through his trademark style of lowercase letters and abundant typos — Epstein alludes to Trump’s predilection for young women.

      Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. As this shit starts to expose people like the Clintons or other powerful individuals, the ensuing shit-storm will get so ugly.

      Trump’s a big fucking piece of shit and deserves all our disdain… but there are so many others out there who supported or at least didn’t bat an eyelash at his behavior who are now clutching their pearls.

            I’ve seen dogbert say some bullshit over a period of time I can’t recall. the last couple years. Agitator is definitely the right term; a broken clock is right twice a day, however. The distinction I’d make is that “Libs” are mostly toeing the party line all of the time. Most of the common sense people who want real change don’t identify as “Lib,” or if they do, they think “Liberal” is synonymous with “left” because that’s what our fucking MSMs have shoveled into our brains for a lifetime and more.

            In any case, when I hear the term “Lib” these days, I think Schumer, Jeffries, Pelosi, etc., who are corporate shills with no interest in helping the little guys out.

      trump is an acute symptom of a chronic disease….
      also, while the e-mails are horrible, and i have no doubt that they abused children together, epstein is not a reliable witness.
      more details will come out though, hopefully with stuff that can be verified a little better
