    At the very least we should direct anger at Dick Durbin. He’s been the Illinois senator and the Democratic Whip for most of my life. He’s consistently on the wrong side of things and he just voted against the party leader to end the shutdown. The Whip… The one who’s job it is to ensure the party follows the direction put forth by the party leader. We need to get all of this ancient party leadership out.

      You do know they’re all in on it right? Funny how almost all the people who broke ranks are the ones that are either not up for election the next cycle or not planning to run for reelection.

      They engineered this collapse to minimize actual consequences for their jellied spines.
