    This guy really, really needs to learn what the internet can do to the reputation of those who deserve it.

    He literally says the rich class needs to “hurt the economy” on purpose. Economic terrorism.

      You can behead the king or members of an aristocracy who’s source of wealth and power are stiuated in one coutry, but how do you want to manage that with a billionaire whose wealth is spread all over the world? He will just move to a friendlier country.

    Unemployment is something they attacked Biden for so it does seem hypocritical. Workers are needed.

    But at the same time they’re encouraging the loss of jobs to bring down inflation. Everyone likes to talk about interest rate rises cooling inflation but they never mention that the cooling effect is largely a function of lost employment.

      That’s not specifically how it works. Rate hikes discourage M&A, Capex in general, and new business launches. Jobs aren’t necessarily lost.

      For instance, with all our rate hikes in the US, we’re still adding jobs on net every month, but inflation is falling.
