    Are they cutting prices to compete with each other, or because supply is simply more than demand? Building cars which aren’t going to be sold anytime soon seems expensive.

      hard to tell to be honest—it’s not clear to me how large the demand is for EVs in the US, since they’re not really viable (except as hybrids) in most of the country due to the lack of dedicated infrastructure. probably, it’s some of both
