He has no authority over the federal reserve
Do we need to make you a list of the things he’s already blown up that he has no authority over?
Off the top of my head:
- Jailing/deporting people without trial
- Taking command of a state’s national guard
- Using the military to enforce domestic laws
- Controlling tarrifs
- Ending birthright citizenship
Even without resorting to violence, he has the authority to appoint Fed execs. What more does he need to control the Fed? The checks-and-balances propaganda is so strong that people keep believing the “independent” parts of the system which haven’t been taken over yet are indelendent. Until they aren’t. Then the hope moves to another bit of the system. Surely that part will withstand the takeover.
