The idea that Americans might have to do something to fix their country? Unthinkable, clearly a joke. Good luck.

Which American are you?

  1. “We can’t fight back because then the Nazis will take the opportunity to punish us harder”

  2. “it’s not as EASY as you seem to think”

  3. “Yeah, well what have YOU done??”

  4. “Did you not see the VERY effective and not-at-all-a-huge-joke No Kings protests?”

  5. “Keyboard warrior!”

  6. “I can’t have principles, I might lose the shitty job I hate!”

  7. “I believe that every historical revolutionary to whom I owe my prosperity was a Disney character with no family or livelihood at stake and who never really had to risk anything because in my child-brain their victory was guaranteed.”****

  • Further insulating Americans from the effects of their inaction is not by any means a “win.”

This only strengthens the GOP’s position by reinforcing the idea that government shutdowns don’t matter to everyday citizens- while at the same time ensuring Americans remain comfortable enough that they continue not to fight back.

The government’s shut down. Great. Everyone still gets their benefits, the military keeps getting paid, ICE keeps being funded. To the Americans perpetuating this MAGA garbage, that sounds fine- and now you’ve ensured that the one thing that might wake them up isn’t going to happen.
