I just checked and I ran it using the default Proton. Though I had also set the following launch options: gamescope -h 1440 -H 1440 -r 144 -f -- %command% I don’t remember why I did this though. Perhaps you could try this and see if this works for you.
It’s been a while so I don’t remember. But if default Proton or Experimental does not work for you, you could try GE-Proton.
