ByteDance is working on a lightweight Pico headset with a tethered puck similar to Meta's ultralight headset, The Information reports.

In its latest report, Juro Osawa and Wayne Ma from The Information cite three sources as informing them ByteDance, Pico’s parent company, is working on a “lightweight mixed reality device” resembling a pair of goggles.
