It’s not terribly difficult to make a cat safe cake that looks like human food. Cats have no taste receptors for sweet, so cat cakes are generally not sugary.
It does look like that cat had some help getting the frosting on her face though.
Good point. They definitely shoved that cats face into that cake. Even if it’s a cake made for cats, it’s way too much food for a single meal and I’m not exactly optimistic about how this cats person handles portion control.
There are so many bad pet owners out there, dude. Animals are not tools to obtain internet likes.
They may not be letting the kitten eat the entire thing. You can take food away. Thought process: “this would be a cute picture, and the internet loves cats. I’ll whip up this fun looking cake treat for the pics, then the cat can have the rest in the following days.”
