      30k MSRP. You just know dealers are going to double that price if they think they can get away with it.

          Most dealers aren’t charging insane markups these days. 2022 was the peak of that.

          Some areas dealers still charge markups, but most are MSRP or less. Hell the “employee pricing” stuff has been HUGE lately charging ~invoice.

          At least where I am, it is illegal for dealers to sell above MSRP.

    Yeesh they sure did ruin the smol looks of the bolt. It’s just another suv blob now. RIP. also, to who is 30k affordable?

      I think that image is of the Equinox, which was mentioned in the article. The 2027 Bolt hasn’t started production.

      I certainly can’t pay $30k, but for a new EV, that’s pretty damn good.

      For a reasonably sized EV with about 300 miles of range 30k is not bad.

      The Kia K4 which is a compact ICE sedan starts at 22k, and the Seltos hatchback thingy starts at 25. Long gone are the days of the 15k sedan. Well unless you count the Mirage. I barely consider that a car.
