At the commission’s daily briefing, spokeswoman Paula Pinho was asked whether Mr Musk has reached out to the European Union with a view to relocating his businesses, or setting up new ones.

“He’s very welcome,” she replied with a smile.

    That’s fucking stupid.

He has the budget of a country, now the brain of an American, and more questionable motives than Orban and as much ability to hurt the EU.

This is not surprising. The EU is also run by a political class who serves the oligarchs, and capital, above all else.

Even if they said he weren’t welcome, it would only be for optics. They would still allow his money and influence behind the scenes.

Elon should not be welcome in the EU. He should be seen as antithetical to what the EU should be striving for and it’s common values.

Anyone who says this should be removed from politics because they’re clearly willing to make a deal with the devil if it means a quick influx of cash.

unfortunately, like a fool with money in a casino, I’m sure a lot of people will be more than willing to make him very welcome

An pro-Trump neonazi imbecile that breaks up with Trump is till a neonazi imbecile.

That said, I agree… he and his business should be as welcome in Europe as anybody else’s: we don’t discriminate.

There is difference between discrimination and not wanting to have this criminal here. Maybe if he goes clean from drugs and gets himself together he could get a chance, but otherwise no.
