I’ve mentioned it before but I’d say hatchet for modern day classic. I’ve watched the whole franchise more than any other I think.

For a favorite classic I’d say evil dead as well, it’s what got me into horror.

Alien is probably my favorite franchise and I’m excited about Noah Hawley’s (Legion, Fargo) new series this year.

Evil Dead and Chucky(even though some of the films are garbage) are also top favorites of mine. The TV series for both are very good.

Additionally, one that I really like that I don’t see mentioned often is [REC]. Spanish found footage zombie movies.

Hellraiser. Really only the first two (not counting the original black and white art experiment version, which is super cool).

The two that I always think first are Insidious and The Conjuring.

I don’t really enjoy horror but I think both of those are well done.
