He had grand ambitious but got bog down in his first move. The entire scheme failed since Russia without Ukraine ain’t an empire. Plus now it has blew its sovereign wealth fund and got nothing to show for it.
Sure they got no debt but malinvestment at this scale will be paid by a generation minimum. Plus a bunch younger men dead. Sovereigns have been deposed for less tbh
Why would he? If Ukraine wanted peace, all they’d need to do is stop firing.
