Few things bug me more than when someone gets frazzled and angry when they are struggling to merge after spending the whole entrance ramp going 30mph below the rest of flow of traffic. Speed tf UP. Entrance ramps are where you SPEED UP.

Thank You! My drivers ed teacher taught us “blending speed”. Usually a tick over or under the flow of traffic. Use the turn signals and slot right in.

I deal with traffic and my branch the same way. My blinker and my PR are a warning that I’m going to merge, not a request for permission. It’s happening.

Ok, that one is so funny that it might actually work.

So many other bumperstickers/back window stickers are just… totally insane, all the red flags, ‘i am an actual menace to society’ type shit.

I hate bumper stickers generally because I don’t like people knowing I’m a menace. I think it’s a nice surprise when they find out.

One of my coworkers has a “boobies make me happy” sticker with just straight up a pair of tits under it. I mean he’s right, but I wouldn’t want it on my car

Should have merged back there with the rest of us… You don’t get to skip the line.

Fuck off, zipper merging as the lane ends is the most efficient use of road. We all get there sooner when we zipper merge properly.

With age I’ve really pivoted on when to zipper merge. It used to be”merge early to be polite”, but now I’m firmly in the camp of “If everyone merges at the end, then it is perfectly equitable to everyone.”

It’s the people who merge early who cause the unnecessary disparity. At least, when one lane is ending this is true.

Around here, it’s not a zipper merge, the lane isn’t ending, they go different places. If you wanted to exit the line stared at the top of the hill.

What if someone isn’t a local and didn’t realize the beginning of the exit lane started so far back? What? Just too bad you had your chance? Letting someone in takes two seconds.

yall jerking eachother over zipper merging when none of you do it correctly. just join where there’s room to keep the traffic flowing. you gunning it to the end of the lane to then aggressively start pushing once it starts closing in on you is not zipper merging.

Back where exactly? Back where you shoved yourself into an ever growing backed up line instead of using all of the merge lane as it was intended? Zipper merge at the end of the merging lane, not at the start of it.
