    I don’t think MPs actually have to live in the riding they represent as a matter of law. It’s mostly just so you have some skin in the game and don’t look like an outsider to voters.

      PeePee is def an outsider to rural Albertans but hey, doesn’t seem to bother them cause hE’s a CoNsErVaTiVe. It’s clear that in AB it’s always going to be party over country. These people have never heard of hypocrisy.

      This area contains the town that my wife grew up in and where I went to high school. PP would be shunned in any of those small towns for being a highfalutin City [homophobic slur].

      I would love to see him show up at the A&W in hanna or the bar in three hills unannounced. Nobody would recognize him and everybody would instantly hate him.

        True but they picked an incredibly safe con riding, that has literally zero chance of voting any other way. Looks like he will win that rural AB riding hands down. I was hoping Blake Desjarlais ran against him or at least someone actually from Alberta. But I feel the ritual AB riding will be “honoured” the leader of the co party chose then.
