The silmarillion is an incomplete book by jrr tolkien about lots of stuff going on in the world of the lord of the rings and the hobbit. There’s lots of lore from the creation of the world to later ages etc. One of the stories is about Túrin who gets cursed by morgoth (basically satan) and ends up hurting lots of people he cares about because he ignores the curse.
