Misogyny is talked about a lot more than it used to, but then there’s the Andrew Tates of the world getting more popular. Are things better, worse or the same overall?
As with most things, it depends on where you look. In general though, there appears to be less open misogyny in the physical world. Especially since cameras and microphones are a lot more prevalent. People aren’t as likely to say misogynist things when they know that their job/reputation is at stake.
That’s a really good point, and most importantly their behaviours in work have had to change. They know they can’t just promote men etc
