I believe they’re ammunition, the artwork’s shadowing just makes it look kind of odd at that angle.
They are rifle rounds. You can see the cartridge case necked down and the line where the case is crimped into the bullet.
And a very purposeful pair of trousers if you don’t mind me saying so.

Hey, I was at this Pride event. Didn’t see you, I’d have definitely remembered if I had.
I saw you at the festival standing in front of the WBC wannabes, but the flag was not blowing so we didn’t see the DON’T. the guy i was with was about to yell at you (for what little good that would do, in reality), but the wind blew and we saw the DON’T.
