AA was indirectly supported by China in operation 1027. AA and China has held talks, though how much influence China has on AA is not known since unlike UWSA and MNDAA, AA was not created by China, and aren’t ethnic Han nor Mandarin speaking people but are Arakanese with their own language. I think at this point China desires to have one unified command structure in place in Burma instead of having to deal with 100 different militias with competing claims for authority.
